Instructional Technology and Media Manager

Training students and employees on a variety of software. Lead several classes covering Microsoft Office and other business-related applications, including Photoshop and Acrobat, every month. I developed the curriculum and created the training materials for this internal training. Read some comments from my training evaluations.

Taught introductory black and white photography classes. Also taught digital classes which covered basic and advanced Flash, Actionscripting, digital photography, Photoshop and web design/production.

Proposed and developed an introductory course in photography. The goal of this class is to impart a basic understanding of photography through shooting assignments, critiques and slide lectures.

Taught beginning computer art classes, introducing the students to the Macintosh computer and providing the students with the foundations of image manipulation and graphic design. The course covers the following applications: Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Quark Express.

Introduction to the Macintosh, an undergraduate art course, designed to teach basic computer skills and to instill the idea of the computer as a tool used in the production of art. The course covered the use of Microsoft Word, Macromedia Freehand and Quark Express. Introduction to Color Photography, in which photographic color theory and practice were taught.
