This is a pre-training tool for Abbot Labs' technicians. Each technician, before traveling to attend training, reviewed the content of the CD. The idea was that all attendees began at the same knowledge level at the beginning of on-site training, thus ensuring more efficent use of training time. After completing the exam portion of this CD, trainees reviewed their results. They could click on any wrong answer and jump to the correct section of the CD to review the information.This product contained many images, animated technical drawings and voice overs.
As programmer for this project, I created all the functionality in AS2 and SWFstudio. I used SWFstudio to enable some email functionality. SWFstudio was also used to allow the application to write data to the computer's registry. This way, the user could save bookmarks, scores, etc.
I became the project manager after a company re-organization. I kept the project on track; the client comfortable with changes in our company and met our deliverable deadlines.
